Bansaawali is an online platform for keeping family trees. Each family or group has its own space (for example pokharel.bansaawali.com), run by its own family administrators. By using Bansaawali you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Accounts

• You must be 16 or older to have an account. Give true information about yourself; one account per person.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• One account works across all family spaces. Each family decides who joins it and with what rights.

Family spaces and administrators

• A family space is created by the platform administrator for a family or group that asks for one. Names of spaces may be refused or changed to avoid confusion, offence or disputes.
• Family administrators approve members (who can propose additions and corrections) and guests (who can view only), and may change or remove access.
• Family administrators are responsible for the information in their family's space and for treating members fairly. The platform administrator may step in to settle disputes, fix misuse or protect people.

Using family information

• Use family information for family and personal purposes: knowing relatives, family history, rituals and events.
• Do not copy, publish or share other people's personal details (such as phone numbers, addresses or dates of birth) outside the platform without their permission.
• Do not use the platform to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, to collect data in bulk, or for unsolicited advertising.

Adding and correcting information

• Add only information you believe is true, and give your source (family knowledge, a book, a document) where you can.
• Additions and changes may be reviewed by the family administrators, who may accept, correct or reject them. Changes are recorded.
• You keep any rights you have in what you add, and allow Bansaawali to store and show it to the people that family allows.

Paid features

The core family tree is free. Optional paid features may be offered in future (for example printed family books, extra photo storage or a family's own web address). Their prices and conditions will be shown clearly before anyone pays.

No guarantee

Family trees are built from family records, books and members' knowledge, and may contain mistakes or gaps. Bansaawali is provided as it is, without guarantee, and is not a legal record of inheritance, citizenship, caste or property. We work to keep the service running and backed up, but cannot promise it will always be available.

Ending use

You may stop using Bansaawali and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. Accounts or spaces that break these terms may be limited or removed.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. They may be updated as the platform grows; the date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes will be announced on the site.

वंशावली वंशवृक्ष राख्ने अनलाइन प्लेटफर्म हो। प्रत्येक परिवार वा समूहको आफ्नै ठाउँ हुन्छ, जुन त्यस परिवारका एडमिनले चलाउँछन्। वंशावली प्रयोग गर्दा तपाईं यी सर्त र गोपनीयता नीति मा सहमत हुनुहुन्छ।

खाता

• खाता १६ वर्ष वा माथिकालाई मात्र। आफ्नो साँचो विवरण दिनुहोस्; एक व्यक्तिको एउटै खाता।
• साइन इन विवरण आफूसँगै राख्नुहोस्। एउटै खाता सबै पारिवारिक ठाउँमा चल्छ; कसलाई जोड्ने भन्ने प्रत्येक परिवारले निर्णय गर्छ।

पारिवारिक ठाउँ र एडमिन

• परिवार वा समूहले माग गरेमा प्लेटफर्म एडमिनले ठाउँ बनाउँछन्। भ्रम वा विवाद हुने नाम अस्वीकार वा परिवर्तन हुन सक्छ।
• परिवारका एडमिनले सदस्य र अतिथि स्वीकृत गर्छन्, र आफ्नो परिवारको जानकारीको जिम्मेवारी लिन्छन्। विवाद वा दुरुपयोगमा प्लेटफर्म एडमिनले हस्तक्षेप गर्न सक्छन्।

जानकारीको प्रयोग

• पारिवारिक र व्यक्तिगत प्रयोजन (नातेदार चिन्न, इतिहास, संस्कार, कार्यक्रम) का लागि मात्र।
• अरूको फोन, ठेगाना, जन्ममिति जस्ता विवरण अनुमति बिना बाहिर नफैलाउनुहोस्। कसैलाई दुःख दिन, धम्क्याउन वा भेदभाव गर्न प्रयोग नगर्नुहोस्।

जानकारी थप्ने र सच्याउने

• साँचो लागेको जानकारी मात्र थप्नुहोस्, सकेसम्म स्रोत (परिवार, पुस्तक, कागजात) सहित। परिवर्तनको अभिलेख राखिन्छ।

सशुल्क सेवा

मूल वंशवृक्ष निःशुल्क छ। भविष्यमा केही ऐच्छिक सेवा सशुल्क हुन सक्छन्; शुल्क र सर्त तिर्नुअघि स्पष्ट देखाइनेछ।

ग्यारेन्टी छैन

वंशवृक्षमा त्रुटि वा अपूर्णता हुन सक्छ। यो अंश, नागरिकता, जात वा सम्पत्तिको कानुनी प्रमाण होइन।
